Anyone use KeePass. Sounds good, but since it's open source software, I'm wondering how secure it really is.

That's a good list, but I have a few words of advice. (My intentions are not to thread crap, just to inform others).

- ClamWin does NOT provide real-time virus scanning. I would suggest another free Antivirus client for Windows. (e.g., AntiVir or AVG)
- VLC doesn't look very good for playing back movies. Maybe it is just my computer, but the quality of DVD playback is nowhere as good as some of the professional DVD players.

It's not the OPs fault it's mistitled, the actual website/article says windows as well. That doesn't stop the fact that the title is dumb and misleading, but still...

Some of the stuff I agree with.

Replace ClamWin with ActiveVirusShield from Kaspersky/AOL
Replace BitTorrent with uTorrent (Get it now b4 it becomes the same or worse then the normal client)
Replace Notepad2 with TextPad - much better proggy

These were the three that I strongly disagreed with and thought I'd put that out there

CPA - I do use KeePass and overall I like the program - especially for free. I'm no security expert so I can't say that I have done some kind of hard core security testing on the program.
However, that said, a couple of things to consider: (1) it never directly accesses the internet itself - it only launches your browser to the entered sites (2) as an open-source program, its source code is available to people with greater skills than I have - if it was faulty or insecure, I'm pretty sure one of those plug-in writers, etc. would howl pretty loud.
