I'm an electronic design engineer. Most of the products I design are for pro audio applications. I also venture into other product fields (see my sig). Analog Devices makes great products for the purpose, so this is a great deal for guys like me.
As a long time veteran of AT, I must also post this request -- I don't care if you're a product designer like me or a student hobbiest with some strange idea you're dying to prove out, but...
PLEASE do not apply for these samples unless you intend to use them and have some idea of what to do with them.
If the AnandTech Effect forces good companies like Analog Devices to restrict their sampling policies, you will be doing a great disservice to real design engineers, adventuring hobbiests, and yourself because it will make it that much more expensive to develop great new product ideas. If all you end up with is a fist full of IC's that do nothing but take up space in a drawer or jar, please forget it.
