Just take it to your local BB. Keep in mind they only have $10 gift cards (duh,
Nordstroms); don't take it to Norstroms, they won't have a clue. I took mine
to my local BB and they just took a generic card (no value on front),
coded in $5 and there you are. This is not rocket science What about "In Store
only" do you not understand; of course, "In Store" means BB where they
have the gift cards.

Good point, hilo. Why don't you take your coupon to your nearest Nordstrom's and let us know? Just maybe they do, indeed, just hand over a $5.00 gift card. I wouldn't know.
BB is blocks aways, Nordie's is a lot more than that. I took the easy route and had gift card in hand. Oh, and I didn't even have to give my email to Nordies or anyone for that matter. Free is free.

Nordstrom is where you're supposed to get the gift card. If Blockbuster was the one redeeming these, there would be no way to track who got a gift card and who didn't; which would lead to people going to multiple stores with these coupon printouts and obtaining several of them.

Thanks, PaulNEPats. Makes sense to me. Guess I got lucky and got a nice sales clerk
at BB and got the card. Too bad Nordies doesn't make it absolutely clear on where you
redeem the coupon; rather, they imply your go to your local Nordstroms.

Is the consensus that we go to BB or to Nordstrom? I don't have a Nordstrom anywhere near me..but lots of BB's....

Anyone else get the GC straight from BB?

the website says to take it to your closest BP department which means it must be some department in nordstroms itself..

Read the thread. Got mine at BB straight-away, no probs. There is no Norstrom in my area. Give it a try...
