If Saddam had a talk show, Rush would be the man he would want on the microphone. If anyone hates our great country more than Saddam, it is Rush.

Both are good at manipulation. Saddam uses threats of torture. Rush uses the weak minds of those that follow and worship Him.

I tune in every once in a while to see if he is still preaching hate. Just as we must fight those that would use weapons of mass distruction, we must also fight those that use deceit to manipulate weak minds. Islamic fundamentalists and Rush both do a good job at manipulating weak minds in order to harm our country.

Listen to Rush and other talk radio, but use your own mind. Don't simply be a mindless sponge and follow blindly. Think!

Listen, we're all adults (or good at pretending to be them) and supposedly intelligent enough to be interested in anandtech threads, so I'm pretty sure it's obvious to all of us that this is a politically charged thread guised as a good deal to start antagonizing everyone involved. To those of you who fell for it and replied, then you're just adding flame-ready fuel to the fire. Like Osama bin Laden, the people who start these threads like "free bush stickers" or "free gore stickers" or "free limbaugh rhetoric" are trying to find a dividing line and incite trouble, and yes, I know it is a deal, technically, because its free and he does charge, but no one who posts somebody who is openly racist on a forum can intelligently deny that they were starting trouble, whether or not that was the true intention. So why don't we all just agree to disagree, leave the thread for those who really want to order it, and stop fighting each other. Everyone wants to fight for what they believe is right, but sometimes it would be more intelligent not to fight people in our community (anandtech), and get to deals like $385 for 18 inch panels.
