Its bad enough I would have to use IE to download. Maybe I will download it on a sanitized system, or does it require IE to run as well?

I already own all the After Dark screen savers too, no clue if any still work. Wife still has Montgomery from the Simpsons set on her old laptop, Back to work slacker.

I got the old After Dark program on cd! They had a bunch of legal issues with that chrome toaster with wings... I don't even know if Sierra is still kicking around. Nice find though! Thanks

btw I use the marble bouncing pinball screensaver.

1 gig hard drive? Heh--I would have killed for a 1gb hdd back then. I "upgraded" to 120mb and thought I was set for life. 486SX-25 processor--blazing. I bought an "Overdrive Processor" and upped it to a 486DX2-50. And that sweet 8-bit Soundblaster really opened up a new world, if you had your memory and IRQ's allocated right. An upgrade to DOS 6 helped somewhat.

DOOM ruled!

I loved the 486-DX 33 MHZ ...remember it was "close" to 50Mhz performace cuz it had the 33mhz bus as opposed the 50s 25 bus

My 486-25sx had 512k video. Then I got a 1mb Orchid card and I felt the Sh!t.

What was Doom? Spear of Destiny, baby!

My first computer was an apple Quadra 610 which is still lying around in the garage. I was still in elementary school and the only reason why we ended up getting a Mac was because it was easier to use. In either case I had so many of these screen savers and flying toasters was one of my favorites. Right now I have a windows box and a two monitor setup. The toasters just fly right on by from one screen to the other. That?s a lot cooler then the default windows logo jumping around.
