Free after rebate 50pks CD-Rs limit 2 Ridata

Thanks to digs at FW.

Radio Shack has Ridata 50-Pack 48x CD-R Discs 26-1001 for $14.99 with a $15 rebate. Purchase between 5/27 and 7/1 with a limit of 2 per person.

You can check the number available in your stores by plugging in your zip then, when you get the list, looking at the numbers under the store. example: 01-8891 14 1.8 (14 is the # in inventory).


These are available for online ordering, but then you have shipping costs.

Ahhh-good deal Ive had good lluck with these Ridata from OM.Hopefully they are of the same quality.
And hopefully they actually have 17 at my local store.Going this morning.

Thanks Allisolm. Good free CDRs (I'll eat the sales tax and postage stamp) are becoming pretty rare, as are deals that let you get a rebate on more than one spindle.

The way the rebate form sounds, is that this deal is for radioshack.com purchases or am I just misunderstand the form? I don't need any cd-rs but heck its kinda hard to pass up free stuff. Then again, I don't seem to have very good luck with radioshacks rebates.

Interesting, spindle shape and light-grey base look identical to the Maxell 48x CDRs that I used to get (in a similar package with green/yellow Maxell wrapper) at Walgreens, that turned out to be decent-quality Ritek media. I had really good results, in fact lower error rates than T-Y discs at the time, and far lower than CMC media. $15 before rebate seems a bit high, but FAR is good. Hmm. (If only they had this deal, at the time of the $5 off in-store coupons! That would have been hot, being paid $5 to take 50 CD-Rs. )

Do you know if you can print one rebate form and receipt and get 2 rebate checks, or does each 50 pack have to be on its own receipt?

I got 2@BM and asked the sales rep about sending the two rebates. He said there are 2 forms (which printed at store) and the rebate form specifies we can either send original receipt or copy.

I am sending one rebate with original receipt and one with copy. What the heck...I always got rebates from Mesa,AZ. So would expect this one also.

Do I have to send them separately or together in one envelope ? Any ideas.

cdr is obsolete now, only good for music now not for data or movies.

I just got 100 dvd-r as well for only 30 bucks!
thats 470gb worth of data.
not to mention im about to toss my cdrw burner/cdrom aside as well and replace them all with dvd rom
