Mine seems to be DOA. Anyone else tried 1 out yet?

Taking a closer look at the card...it looks pretty new and/or MUCH cleaned up. All except the bent AGP retainer slot at the bottom edge of the card. Looks like someone didn't know the retainer clip had to be pushed down prior to removing the card and either broke the edge of the card (and it was repaired) or bent it pretty bad.

Either way...my card is DOA is going back to TD. Not interested in a replacement either. May just get back another POS DOA card:|

Mine looks brand spanking new, I got it late last week. Not a single insertion scratch on the contacts using a fairly powerful magnifying glass to check. I haven't tested it yet. I'll try it this weekend and will report back.

Life can just be weird sometimes I got my replacement card and have the broken card all wrapped up and ready to ship back to TD. Just then I see a deal at AT for a X800XT AIW (AGP) for $129 through the ATI trade-up program. So I guess I'll send ATI my broken Matrox card and save $50.

Just weird timing I guess

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

I just installed my card tonight. Mine has a bent AGP retainer slot as well (actually it's cracked), but it works just fine. I'm using it in an old PIII 500Mhz Compaq Presario. Now I have a 16mb video card instead of an 8mb video card.

I would describe mine as bent and cracked (although the crack doesn't go all the way through).

Actually...OnRebate has been VERY good the late couple months. I've sent in ~3-4 OnRebate MIRs and gotten them approved with e-mail confirmations very quickly and payment ~4-5 weeks after mailing them out.

I sent my rebate for this offer out on the last possible date (on 8-24-06) and haven't heard anything yet.
