I got a free shirt at one of their promotional shows. I don't wear it that often, but when I do, I have people come up to me and ask if I work for the company. Several people have told me that they would like to work for them.

If I saw someone wearing an Intel shirt, it wouldn't bother me. I'm an AMD guy, but I've owned products from both companies.

Yep. Good shirt, and I wear it proudly, especially when going to computer stores and swap meets.

That's weird, I accessed the page, filled out the form, and THEN got the l/p prompt. Now I can't even access the page.

Anyways, why's everyone so down on AMD? In my experience they've always made really great processors -- far better than Intel or any other brand, IMHO.

I got an AMD jacket, hat, and nice zip-binder-thing in the mail a while back. Funny thing is... I don't use any of them. My girlfriend stole them all, and she wears/uses them all the time... and she doesn't even like computers!

AMD used to be very liberal with there giveaways, now they pretty much have all but stopped. Intel on the other hand is very generous these days. Once they waved the silly tests they used to make you take to be a partner they have really turned things around. I did AMD exclusively for years in systems, now I have rebounded back to Intel as they are alwasy putting on roadshows etc.. With plenty of giveaways. I just signed up for there latest IPD laptop deal, paying $999 for a day to build a Centrino notebook (that you get to keep), the notebook will either be the FIC or Asus M3N with the 1.7GHZ Centrino fully decked out. That is a hot deal however not everyone can attend. If anybody in the Portland, OR area wants in on this I have one slot available just PM me for details.

Same here, I've signed up for 2 in the past off AMD site and I've have yet to receive anything.
