Free APC SurgeArrest Surge Protector after MIR - Ends today, 12/08/01

So here's the deal. My g/f bought the SurgeArrest Surge Protector model AC PER7 from Circuit City yesterday. It has seven outlets and has a $2,500 connected equipment protection warranty. The rebate said "Qualifying items must have been purchased between 12/02/01 and 12/08/01, so I'm assuming it ends today.

Oh yeah, I forgot to post that earlier this week when I picked mine up. It wasn't in their sales flyer last Sunday so they actually had them in stock all week.

They must print two different flyers then, because it sure was in our flyer last Sunday. PIcked up the 20 AA batteries free after rebate. Actually did both deals twice. It's nice having my mom (and her address) so close.

When I linked to the APC PER7 link posted in the first post of this thread, put the item in my basket and went to check out, some other guy from Illinois, all his circuitcity.com info was already filled in. Bizarre. Be careful.

Ordered through Circuitcity.com, choose to pick up from my local CC. The confirm page showed the order was place on 12/09/2001

But it is still 12/08 at my time zone.

I had the same problem with another order (laptop memory) I think CC is in EST (but I'm in PST). I remember reading somewhere that you can talk to the manager about it.. but don't remember where or exact details, anyone have experience with this? TIA
