Hmm.. So it's okay to kill people in war, right? An innocent iraqi who gets killed by our forces is going to feel just as wronged as any American who was the victim of a terrorist attack.. We're simply legitimized terrorists if you want to look at it like that -- they just started the war earlier and have been more effective thus far.

How is an innocent Iraqi who gets killed by American forces going to "feel" anything? Just wondering!

Keep the discussion on-topic or the mods will lock this thread, guaranteed. Posting links to political causes I doubt is truly "on topic."

But to prevent terrorism, end brutal dictatorships or development of weapons of mass destruction? Clearly not worth fighting for. "

IMHO
preventing terrorism, ending brutal dictatorships and preventing development of WMDs are all worth fighting for...
too bad any war in Iraq would have nothing to do with the above
You mean the innocent Iraqis killed by Iraqi troops that are dressed up in copies of US and British uniforms? Yeah, I'd definitely be feeling pretty wronged if I were in their shoes.Originally posted by: merlink

Sure, the Beasties have a right to use their stardom for whatever they want, but I also have a right not to buy their next album (whenever that is) and turn them into has-beens. Silly rappers... At least you'd never catch Biz Markie doing this!Originally posted by: merlink <START Flamewar>Hmm.. So it's okay to kill people in war, right? merlink, the difference is that terrorists TRY to kill innocent people but US forces are going to try NOT to kill innocent people. Some will die accidentally, but overall the people in Iraq will be much better off as a result of the war.
