Defiant1: she's self-righteous??
At least she doesn't try to censor her opponents, nor does she ridicule them with even a fraction of the ferocity with which they attack her, generally with the same degree of, well, vicious self-righteousness that you display.
She's an outspoken moral conservative in a leftish media world (Democrat by about 10 or 20:1) -- so her opponents, typically, don't refute her or even engage her arguments, they simply libel and try to silence her. Easy for them to do in Hollywood.
Or in academia -- it's the same approach they take on campus: We're loving and tolerant, which means those who disagree with us -- obviously hateful and intolerant, or they'd agree with us, right? -- should be silenced. (Especially if they use white male, linear, logical thinking -- that's downright phallocentric!!!) So let's set up speech and hiring codes to make absolutely sure that a student left turn is mandatory, now and (via faculty hiring control) forever to come.
After all, isn't intimidating and silencing opponents what tolerance is all about? Conservative ideas are simply too dangerous, too threatening to important leftist ideals -- for the sake of freedom of thought, collective social progress, and most of all, tolerance, they must be silenced!
Amen, and amen. Now, let's all hug and sing a song, shall we?
