There's one born every minute. How can anyone miss a 70K reduction? There are other indicators of mileage besides the odometer.

What are the other indicators?

If you're talking about the body and interior, you cant tell at all. To this date, the paint and body is still amazingly literally newish. They must of did something to the paint. My brother's 90 Camry's paint is starting to fade a bit. When my parents bought it, it was in pristine garage kept condition and the interior is like new.


Heh, that means the car has 218k miles right now. My parents probably spent $3k total on all maintence since they bought it and it still runs excellent today. I wonder how long it'll last...

Perhaps somebody put a one in front by accident. 53,000 sounds about right. One way to check this would be to check maintence records if they were included when your parents bought it.
