Well, y'all can kiss the deal good bye. A small order of one or two same items will probably slip by if 3D Cool seperates billing and shipping, but NOT an order of 500 or 5000 quantity. Use some common sense. When someone places a 500 or 5000 order, the seller is going to notice something is not right. Hello? We are talking about 500 and 5000 in a single order, which is a majorly huge order by any standard. That kind of order get attentions from supervisors and management. As the matter of fact, any quantity over 50 is going to get some sort of attention.
Use your brain. On Monday morning when the billing person sees the 500-quantity order, the first thing that comes up in her mind will be: "Do we have enough cases to fill the order?" Then she will have to ask her supervisor. Then the supervisor will notice something is wrong as the total order price is to low. Then the supervisor will bring it to the management's attention. Then the management will know something is definitely wrong and will do something about it.
3D Cool will most probably cancel all orders. Worse yet, they will probably charge you guys full price and make y'all go throught the hassles of cancelling orders and getting refunds just to teach y'all a lesson. Then y'all will have to pay for the shipping no matter what happens.
And that sort of taking advantage of a website screw up is going to bankrupt any small company. Do you guys really think 3D cool is going to risk losing big $$$ and going out of business in order to honor some orders that are results of a mistake in the first place?
Talk about some socially inert geeks who completely lack common sense screwing up a good deal for everyone else because of his personal greed.
