It's a razor-blade inbetween to plastic folds, one uses it to get the annoying wrap off, including the label on the top. It costs about $4 in any music store.

So that's what those funky things were. I hid them because I thought someone might cut their hand on one.

But yes sometimes that plastic wrap is stuck on like like glue so cutting it up would help to a degree.

hehe, you'd be surprised how many people have a difficult time opening up cd cases. when i take my sister to go buy cd's, she tries so hard to open them up in the car on the way back, but has to wait for me to open them for her.
