I did it and the cds burn no problem at 12x and I already have my rebate check.

No, only one rebate form "upto 4 rebates per form...one form per household" or something like that.

Goto Outpost.com and do a keyword search for "imation 5" it's the first on the list.

Sorry didn't think about adding "after rebate" to the title, but it is a great deal. 20 CDRs for less than the price of an envelope and stamp after rebate.

1 rebate per person/household I used 1 rebate form and attached a copy of the invoice showing that I purchased 4, and the 4 UPCs.

Got my rebate in about 4 weeks. Would have posted it sooner but just joined this forum the other night and thought I'd share.

I have done this rebate before and I only sent in one rebate form. I called first and they said that it would be fine.

I got my rebate about a month after

Same here. I filled out only 1 rebate form for 4 packs and the Outpost CSR said that was fine. Well, it certainly seems longer than 4 weeks to me, but at least I got my rebate, just today. =)

I think it's one rebate per address, but I personally wouldn't want to go through all the trouble and wait so long for the rebate. At least back then, I had the $10 flooz deal.

By the way, the CDRs label "1x-4x" compatible, so I'm not sure about burning them at 12x.

Hey "EliteMember" (LAME NAME, IMHO).

Anyways...with a different address, just use someone elses name who lives with you. Or, use your middle name as your last name....or middle as first. Works fine for me.

In otherwords, Alex Liam Hamps becomes:

Liam Hamps or Alex Liam.....the bank will cash the check...just bring ID. :0

The rebate form is on outpost's site. there is a link to a .pdf file to bring it up and print it out.

I would think they would track name and address ( says one per person/household) but you can always use someone elses name address I guess.

Actually, most places track address first. This prevents you from using your entire family to claim multiple rebates.

Some places care...others don't....basically ask yourself this..."would I buy this product without the rebate?" If you say "yes", then go for it.....

I MAY be getting screwed on this deal. This rebate form clearly states "Start Date 6/1/00". I took advantage of an identical deal back in May. I got my rebate for the May purchase but I never got my rebate for the next rebate period starting 6/1/00.
After not receiving the June rebate after 8 weeks I called them and they said that it was denied since there is a limit of 4 per year, thats it. They continued to state that this rebate promotion is the SAME one that expired at the end of May. They did not care that the new rebate form says START DATE 6/1/00 and the previous one had expired. I argued with them for a while and the supervisor said she will try to resubmit it but "NO PROMISES". Do you guys feel I am wrong or right? Should I take this up with my credit card company if I do not get the rebate?
Damn rebates....

Cheap Flyer the rebate paper does not in anyway state that you can only get 1 rebate per year... and it clearly states that this rebate offer has a start date of 6/1/00 so yes I would get a little ticked about it if I were you.
