This "booster" is the biggest scam in the world.
This thing DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help the
reception on your cell phone.

It is designed to look like a fancy high-tech circuit board or something
(this is what fools most people in to buying it).

BUT THIS IS NOT A CIRCUIT BOARD.
It is just a piece of plastic and thin metallic foil? designed to look
"high-tech" that probably costs about 2 cents to manufacture.

IF YOU PAID $20, $10, or even 10 cents for one of these things,
YOU ARE A FOOL AND YOU HAVE BEEN ROBBED.

Just put the stamp on your cell phone.
It will be like adding a 4 foot antenna to it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys "psxQ" looks a little suspicious too.. Only 2 posts and joined Dec2001.. and the 2 posts was trying to defend the antenna AND rave about the chess set. I say ban them both.. It's either a friend or "netalie" w/ the 2 accounts!

For those too dense to figure this scam out.
They will not remove static on a digital phones, such as Sprint uses.
Digital can't have static. Calls would get dropped first.
If you have poor reception, call your cell phone service provider.
Tell them that for $3 the problem will get fixed. (try not to laugh).
Will they pay the $3 for the device, or lose you as a customer?
At least this way it will cost you nothing to see these don't work.
If they did work, every cell phone bill would include one of these at no charge.
It would cut down on customer service calls for a next to nothing, and they
would jump all over this solution. But then common sense kicks in, and the
reason why your provider doesn't send these to you is simple. They don't work!

There is no way this can help your phone reception. Because the antenna is connected all junk inside your phone, the booster is not. Try breaking the antenna off a radio and then taping it to the side of the radio and see if you get any stations.

True, though - one of the guys in my office bought a bunch and has been selling them for $1. FWIW, I was able to get a signal in a hilly area of the Los Angeles South Bay where I have never been able to get anything before - but the person I called couldn't hear me, so perhaps there's some truth to the notion that this thingie only helps reception, not transmission.

Has anyone actually oredered from them? That 555-5555 phone # scares me a little. But that Glass Chess Set for $21 is almost too good to pass on. I'd hate to have argue with my CC company to get a bunch of false charges removed after they rape my card. If I could get a real number to call and verify them I might order it. I really like that set!
