Free Coffee at work starts Monday! Update: Not this Monday

We get free coffee, herbal tea (I don't know why), hot chocolate, and water. Heck, last week we had a big BBQ, and a few months ago they had a crawfish boil.

 

I work at a police department...the coffee's always free and always hot.

Even though we have free coffee, tea and hot chocolate, stealing it is unheard of. We have a culture in our company that stealing is the lowest thing you can do. People goof off for half the day, come in late and leave early, and decide to take a day off after traveling ("it's so stressful"), but they do not steal.

They don't steal physical items, just time.

We get free coffee. The beans are "Gloria Jeans" and there's a grinder next to the coffee pot. There's also a hot drink dispenser that has hot chocolate instant coffee, instant cappucino\latte\mocha and a very sweet french vanilla latte.

It's all free.

WTH is this a big deal? Why didn't they offer coffee to begin with?

My work has not only free coffee and tea, but cocoa and the coffee is Kona Blend!

EDIT: Oh, yeah, and the boss took me to lunch at JT Schmidt's today too.

I have free coffee here at work but it sucks and I never drink it. I make my own at home and drink it on the way to work. 1 cup a day is all I can drink.

For some odd reason McDonald's brought us a few hundred biscuits, sandwiches, muffins, and some cinnamon things. No clue why.

Free coffee? I'll be right over. Seriously, this is a good perk (no pun intended) for a company to provide. Whether it leads to more productivity or not, it's still a good move on their part.

We get free coffee, but I don't drink that. So sodas are 25 cents, as are all candy items (and the candy machine even has those Oberto beef jerky packages that cost $2.39 at the local 7-11).

Free coffee, bottled water, and soft drinks here. We just got one of those fancy Flavia single serving making machines this week, but I prefer a big pot of nice, bold Starbucks in the morning. I would kill for free Red Bull, as it is I have to pay $1.50 per can.
