I wouldn't put it as free. I can imagine the hoards of cheap people going there for free ice cream Maybe the title should be 'support a good cause and get free ice cream'.

The free flavor is ..... chocolate w/ yellow cake. Plus choc chips and sprinkles. Standard little kid formula. Most adults can't eat it. Actually most kids can't either but they keep asking for stuff like this.
You may want to make the donation and skip the "free" icecream

Plain ColdStone ice cream is like regular ice cream with a bunch of sugar added to start with, way too sweet for my taste, perfect I guess for the frosted flake crowd.

That stuff was way too much for me. It was generous to call it "ice cream". Realistically, it was chocolate chips and rainbow sprinkles and a very little bit of yellow cake with enough chocolate ice cream to hold it together and make it cold. It was okay for about the first five or six bites, but I couldn't even eat half of it.

We still donated money anyway, of course.
