It's a "foundation" they get a huge tax write off for this kind of thing. Foundations are what contribute money for research and so on.
If you read a bit on the website you will see that it is not a write off for the Jim Mullen Foundation. Jim Mullen is a quadriplegic Police Officer, which was a result of being shot in the line of duty.

Thank you for posting this. My mother-in-law has Lou Gehrig's Disease. So far we have been able to jury rig a computer that kinda works for her, but that Dragon software would really be a help...
