Agree. Deal is ice cold IMO and the title is misleading.

Not a hot deal if you're looking at buying RAM. You can get 512mb of CL2.5 Corsair for the less than Crucial's CL3 stuff.

the offer is only valid through crucial.com and if you are buing this for a buisness and your boss is going to remburse you then I say get the crucial for your employer and get the free game for you.

Yes it is misguiding. Saying a free copy of Far Cry would be an ACTUAL free copy with no extra deal necessary...
If it werent to be misguiding, you would put in summary... "With a $65 purchase from Crucial"...


The deal isn't worth it IMO, it would be warm, or lukewarm, but not hot...

No. How is it a scam? I am not getting anything out of it. You clicked on the link and it told you more. I posted this because I thought it was in everyones best interest.


If you have $75 to spend on ram, why buy some other kind when you can buy quality crucial and get a far cry game for the same price. It is free.

Free with purchase is NOT free. Is this guy just dense or is there an ulterior motive behind the misleading title? Like some rating for thread reads or being an employee? He has had a lot of complaints about it being misleading, had edited the original post, but still refuses to be honest about the thread title.

No I do not hold stock in Micron Technologies
No I do not have any monetary interests with them
No I am not affiliated with them or have ever worked as a supplier, advertiser, etc
Yes, I have purchesed a few DIMMS from them in the past. -That is it. Crucial is an easy company to do buisness with.

The point is you can spend $65 at crucial.com and not get a copy of the game. You must enter this code to get the offer. So if you have $65 or more to spend on ram, then why not go to crucial.com and get 10% off and a copy of far cry that you otherwise would not have?
