fry's uses DHL and they couldn't find my house so i had to pick up my order

dhl recently damaged every thing in a large pallet that we recived at work, they just told us it needed to be packed better next time, oh, and the shipment was lost in there warehouse for 2 months..... they kept telling us they did not have it anymore, when in reality, they just did not know where it was!

use dhl if you want it your stuff late and broken.

I live in a condo building with a locked front door and I have the same problem. I signed up for the free shipping envelope, so we'll see whether I have the same problem receiving that or not.

DHL dropped off over $2000 in precious metals on my front porch with a signature required on it... eep. I was lucky this time.

They are struggling in the US right now, compared with FedEx and UPS. IIRC, the WSJ just had an article where FedEx was going to be carrying most of DHL's freight.

DHL lost a $1500 business laptop that we sent in to get repaired. The package tracking said it was dropped off at the warehouse, but HP has no record of receiving it. Someone's gonna get it come Monday... luckily it's not me.

Dell uses DHL, and they have multiple complaints for saying that they attempted delivery when they didn't, etc.

A friend of mine had FedEX royally screw up a delivery of an envelope which made whatever company he works for miss a deadline for some project bid.

UPS randomly leaves packages at the door that require signature and require me to pick up packages from their warehouse that don't need signatures

DHL will no longer be delivering in my area at the end of this month. rumor mill has it that it is just the start of them going out completely, that came from a senior DHL person that I know

Good. DHL can die for all I care. Ever delivery guy I've ever met is a complete idiot. My address is 5620, its in huge numbers on the house, but does he deliver it there? NO! To the house 5420, and walks right past the stupid mailbox that has the numbers on it. Oh not to mention he's broken 3 things that were sent to me. Good bye DHL, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Yes on the box, no on the restrictions. The little enclosed card says no weight limit or dimensions.

Sweet, than I can use it to ship something, but are they reliable? It says $100 insured but are they as reliable as Fedex?

Wow, shipped the package from IL to MT on a saturday, got there monday. Very fast shipping except not a lot of common sense. Why would they send the package to Eastern Ohio, then shipping it to montana? That is the complete opposite way from Montana!
