Yea they usually give free samples when they take them out of the oven. Its my one reason I'll go with my friend when he buys a box.

After I try the freebie sample I usually end up buying a box of them as well..... not fair..... But ever sooo yummy!!!

I got in right before my local store closed... I guess they had anticipated more people because toward the end they were giving out half dozens. Donuts are bad... but free is always good.

sorta off topic, but i've noticed at least 3 locations in socal that have shut down. is business not going too well, or what?

the fad was over. people used to go there just to experience the novelty ofa fresh if overpriced tiny donut. i did that a few times... but i havent gone there in years now. most other people wised up the same too..and kk is in the sh*tter these days. good old fashioned donuts are good enough for me these days if i bother. serious 1 kk is like 1/2 a normal donut

A couple around me have closed down and I am in the Los Angeles are so I agree with you. It kinda sucks for me since I have one of those cards that you buy one dozen and get one free.
