Free downloadable Winzip

Does anyone know of a credible website or place where I can get a free Winzip or WinRAR? Which is better? Thanks!

winrar and winzip isnt free. Check the eula. You casn download an eval copy though. 7-zip is free.

If I use 7-zip, the only way to extract the files is if you have 7-zip too?

Just make sure to choose .zip instead of .7z

7 zip is very good and it can do .zip or .rar as well
Winzip can be used for a 30 day Trial without paying.
But it doesn''t stop working after 30 days.
That said, if you like it, pay for it.

I used the eval for Winrar, its way past expiration but it still works somehow...

We know Winzip does not, technically expire. But legally, if you use it
past 30 days, you should pay for it.
