Instead of getting political, why hasn't this investigation gone down to the numbers >> pure engineering. If engineers (civil/mechanical/FP/etc.) know and understand the necessary forces, temperature, stress and strain required for these events to happen, how come it hasn't come to light?

*and yes, I'm civil and any civil engineer goes through dynamics/mechanics/steel/concrete/etc. and physics courses; so millions across the nation could figure this out pretty quickly if given the #'s

Everyone missed my point (yet one extremely intelligent individual told me to shut the fvck up). This does not belong in "Hot Deals" This and all other propaganda on the left and on the right belongs in Politics & News. We have a forum for that stuff and people who are genuinely interested will go there. It's like the vacuum sales man who knocks on my door -> if I wanted a vaccum, I know where to find one.

If I - and the others that come for Hot Deals - wanted to see political discussion, I'd wrap my head in duct tape (so when it exploded, the pieces would be easier to gather up) and trodge over to P&N.

Had you watched a little additional footage, you would have found out that it wasn't anywhere near the size of engine that was supposedly on one of those planes. Representatives from the engine manufacturer confirmed that.

I have just read Jim Hoffman's response to Popular Mechanics 9/11 article that tries to debunk the truth about 9/11 by the use of the 'straw man' tactic. Ok, forget the technical "it could/couldn't happen" stuff. Watch Loose Change, pay close attention to the money portions; where the building is insured and has a clause specifically for terrorist attacks, pay attention to the put options (stocks #'s), listen carefully to the financial things, and skip the rest. People can argue until they're blue in the face over what would/wouldn't bring the buildings down, but one can't dispute the money side of things.

Don't run away from the issue. Go find a government study that has acknowledged pre collapse explosions 15 seconds before WTC1 started its collapse. What's that? Why not just watch the DVD so you can understand where he comes from?

I was once like you, I saw what happened on TV and of course I believed what they told me about the terrorists, passengers overtaking a plane and crashing it, and of course a plane flying into the Pentagon. Things didn't add up after the smoke cleared though.. invading Iraq for oil, installing a Bill of Rights crippling Patriot Act, and starting a war on terrorism but only focusing on the middle east. You need to get informed big time, open your mind like I did, just do a Google video search on Alex Jones and he'll give you all the documented evidence not being shown on TV. If not, then just keep believing what you 'feel' is true, while these people actually investigate and document it for us to make up our own mind with.

Pretty handy we started a war out of the blue so that the fact that were not even looking for Bin Laden doesnt show up in the polls. Honestly, the republicans kept the white house because of 9/11, and they got immediate support to invade the largest oilfeilds left in the world to please their "investors".

To get around the checks and balances system and increase ones power, all that is required is skillfull deception and manipulation. I dont know why people have forgotten that rulers tend to try and gain as much power as they can. Ours is no different, but because the system put in place is reasonably well balanced, they have had to resort to extreme measures such as this.

Noone is claiming that the attacks didnt happen. All we are asking is that people attend to the overwhelming evidence for conspiracy. There are too many motivations and "coincidences" for me to brush it off, and I feel that anyone who cares about who is responsible for the victims of 9/11 should at least make the effort to look into it before brushing it off as conspiracy theory.

Oh and this most definately doesnt belong in Hot Deals.
