Yep, free DVD cases are getting hard to come by since AOL doesnt send them out so much anymore.

This dvd is not worth watching, it is all about some nuclear war heads being stripped to make a dirty bomb or something, but the movie abruptly ends and doesn't bother to have a conclusion.

Since when was being concerned about unsecured nuclear materials a "leftist: point of view? Did this happen around the same time that the "conservatives" in power lost all interest interest in fiscal responsibility and turned into a no-tax and spend klepocracy?

Pointing out that the US is incredibly vunerable to a terrorist nuclear attack and that the current administration is generally incompetent when it comes to national security (for example, ignoring the "Bin Laden Determined to Attack in US" memo while obsessing about building a new Star Wars missile defense system) sounds more like common sense than "leftist" propaganda.

Alas, this is a discussion that would be better finished in P and N.

I still haven't gotten around to watching it, but before people continue to prejudge it's potical slant (if any) beforehand, with absolutely no evidence, a quick review of the dust jacket and official website reveal the following:

-positive endorsement ("fictional but not fanciful") from financier Warren Buffett, a nonpolitical straight shooter in most people's opinions,

-endorsements from both the chair and vice-chair of the 9/11 Commission,

-endorsements from both Senator Richard Lugar (R) and Sam Nunn (D), both of whom are usually accorded some respect as not being party hacks. I think, but am not sure, that one or both these Senators are either in the movie or the discussion segment afterwards.

We have all been turned somewhat cynical by the blatantly partisan rhetoric that comes from both the Washington administration and many of it's opposition, but it is still possible to really discuss and analyze critical social and political issues in a meaningful way.

I recieved the DVD a few months back, invited my friend over, and was sorely disappointed. The terrorists get hold of a nuke, and are bringing it to America, and then bleh it just ends with a little message about nukes being lost or something. I was mad that I wasted 45 minutes of my time watching it.

I ordered this thing months ago using a throw-away e-mail address. Never received the DVD, but I have received unbelievable amounts of spam. The e-mail address I used has never been used for any other purpose.

Beware of this, just a heads-up guys.
