I agree, dvdshrink and dvd2one have consistently worked for me. I tried DVDXCopy once and swore never again! They have always seemed a little shady to me. :disgust:

i have only burned one coaster with dvdxcopy, and that was with the lion king. dvdshrink couldn't do it right either. i have a feeling it was just the disc. i love these programs, there's so many lil runts runnin around ruining my originals.

I've had much, much, much better luck with dvdshrink or dvd2one

From my personal experience I have made copy's of 26 movies and did not create one coaster.

Yep - I can confirm - it's a bust. There's nothing new here - they've always had an FTP site. The software requires activation codes in order to work.

DVDShrink is a better alternative. No reg codes required, 100% free, fits on a 1.44 floppy, and it actually works.

You sure about this? 321's website says they will appeal, and if that doesn't go through, they will modify the software instead. Plus they are still going to sell their other titles.

If 321 has not succeeded in obtaining a stay by that time, 321 will comply with the court order and replace the current version with product that does not include a ?ripper,? the software code temporarily banned by today's ruling. Just a heads up, this is not indeed what it seems. 321 Studios has always had an anonymous FTP server running, and has always required activation to use those files on the FTP.
