Looks frekin sweet, very detailed, and you get the earth and the moon for free, anything more and you have to pay, Im tempted to.

BTW running mine at 1280x720 on my 100" projection on a X1900GT card, and a E4300 CPU running at 2.8.

Just a thing of beauty with all the eye candy turned up all the way at that rez is all I can say.

Either I'm doing something wrong or you can't zoom in on the earth without being stopped by the nag screen. Leave it running too long and the nag screen comes up. Subscription prices are a little steep IMO.

Its a demo in a way you only get the Earth and the Moon to watch go by, but that will never expire. If you pay the subscription you obviously get a hell of a lot more, with narration, and more planets. I wish I had the funds for that would be very educational for my kids in what the have to offer if you do pay.

But for now, I love what it is, its just fantastic looking at the high resolution of the moon, and earth, very lifelike.

they package this with the new Catlyst drivers... rather, they package a link to download...so I did...

What a piece of junk screen saver....

no detail what so ever.... unless you pay.

Why is anyone finding this app good? I"m confused...

What kind of card and system are you running, and do you have it set up for TV mode, or did you go in and manually set the res and everything? I dont know what you mean by no detail for on my system its loaded with detail, on on the moon it has all kinds of craters on it, and for the earth, when the sun is coming around it looks stunning, as if I am right there looking at it from space. No jagged lines, highly detailed and very HD looking.

What the heck are you talking about? I have it on 4 computers, and none of them have it running in the background when its not selected, or being used as a screen saver. You have other issues if you have something sucking up 50% of your cpu, for its not that and its running on my E4300 maybe taking up 10% of it if it is not downloading and updating its files.

I guess I shoulda taken some screen shots for ya, but I already removed it. I had 2 process from this app., running continuously in the background. Didn't matter if I was using the proggy, or not. I played with turning it on and off, and it was using 50% of my processor. This was after the updating. It didn't look right to me either. I also thought it was kinda strange, the app. put itself in Documents and settings. Did yours install there?

Yeah thats is strange indeed, on all 4 of my computers, mine, my wifes, and my 2 boys, it is in the c drive with nothing of the sorts in my doc folder at all. Checked mine just now after running it and there is nothing running in the background at all.

Id for sure check exactly where your games are being sent to when you install them, or check your computer for a virus, or something, for its not working right, and I got my dl from the same place as I linked.

I thought something might be buggered. I'm pretty sure it's no virus. I run Spyware Doctor, CounterSpy, Trojan Remover, AVG and NOD 32. Not all at the same time, but, you get the idea. If anything, one of those buggers might have rerouted it and made it act crazy. I'm gonna try it again.
