You know, there is a negative to this free offer depending on what you?re selling. Since it?s free expect to see a flood of listings hence huge increase in supply of certain items. Hopefully you know your economics, high supply=low price...

I'll put a couple items up but I would not go crazy...

I've not seen anybody comment on the fact that this is for fixed price listings only, not regular auctions...

edit: Maybe I should add the fact that this is of value too, just clarifying... (so I'm not crapping)

There is also a high supply of idiotic bidders who pay just about any price. I am always suprised at home many items I sell on these free listing days. I usually put a pretty high price on items based on the selling price from previous weeks. They always bid, even if they can get it for cheaper in another auction!

Why not go crazy, what is it costing you? Download their Mr. Lister tool and you don't have to do anything when they offer free listing days. Just upload the auctions...

I like this better - as soon as someone bids, the auction is over and I have my money faster.

This is the first time I used this feature and I had some bozo buy 2 items thinking that he didn't win the auction and then sent me payment for 1. Ebay could probably care less that I would have to relist 1 of the items now because I didn't pay for it the first time.

What do you mean by this statement? I'm a seller and don't think I rip people off in the least. They still get a much better deal than if they went to Best Buy and paid retail for something. If you compare the prices to what we pay for some of these deals, yes, they pay more. Most people don't care to hang out on deals boards though or jump through hoops with price matches and rebates. Some don't have any idea how to go about getting a deal. Should I feel bad about this? No.

For example.. If I buy RAM for $30 and then sell it for $50 on Ebay, but Best Buy has it for $90. Who is losing out here?
