I really miss the Carl's Jr. Western Special burger! Both Carl's Jr and Jack in the Box are West coast only chains, so I can't get them here in New York

i go to UCLA and we have like no fastfood chains in westwood... all we have is in n out and burger king...

no taco bell or carl's or the others.... just tons of quasi fast food places like diners and stuff.....



fat burger is definetly the best fast food there is!! i add an egg on the king burger... greatest burger i've ever had

yeah its next to lot 32. they claim they do not take the coupon. i tried maybe there was some confusion, but well yeah.

there are a lot of chains you just need a car.

there is a mcdonalds that is open for 24 hours on wilshire west of the 405. on veteran and santa monica there is a 24 hour drive through jack in the box. on santa monica there is a 24 hour yoshinoya. denny is in the village, fat burger open till like 3 am on gayley. there's also another mcdonalds and a carl's jr, across the street from each other on west santa monica blvd.


there used to be a carls jr near wilshire 2nd floor over the starbucks but it closed a couple years back. there are so many food places around just most arent in walking distance.

I used one today here in Orange, CA. Cashier seemed to recognize it, and it rang up as Fat Deal or something, $3.47 off. Some confusion on how the whole order had to be placed, but the cook came up and got it fast. Two fat burgers, 1 fry and 1 drink, coupon, and total with tax is like $7.50

Yes fat burger is smaller than I remember, more like 1/4 pound. It was tasty, but pales compared to Big Wave at the Islands couple days ago.

I just printed out a couple more to use next week.

btw, carls jr = hardee's back east. a lot of carls items, like the $6 burger, are available at hardee's locations.

In n out is the best by far.

I went to fatburger a few months ago and my girlfriend got a cheese burger combo. The total came to something like 17.00. !!! for 2 people. That is insane. I like Wendys better then fatburger.

There is one by my apartment here on Wilshire and Broxton that takes them without a prob. Me and my roommate each had a fatburger combo for a grand total of about 7.50. good deal if you ask me. Nothing beats a nice fatburger with some fat fries for about 3.50

no way jose. in-n-out is so far above any burger joint it is crazy. and their prices are so low too. farburger 1) is more expensive and 2) doesn't taste nearly as good for burgers, shakes or fries.

I LOVE fatburger and definitely agree with the Fatburger rules over In-and-Out camp. Not only is the burger itself tastier and bigger than In and Out, but you also have the option having it flame-broiled or on the grill AND the fries blow away In-and-out as well.

I haven't been to the area in a few years, but isn't there a Burger King at Westwood and LeConte right at the entrance to UCLA?

Best burger, go to a place called Spanky's in Lubbock, TX (middle of no where I know)
and order the Manhater.

I think In-N-Out is better than Fatburger. Fatburger definately has more variety and choices, but In-N-Out has better burgers and fries. I am basing this on the Fatburger in downtown Santa Barbara.

It works in Palms...at the corner of Sawtelle and Venice...still not Cheap, but it gets fatburger down to fast food prices...it was like $4.09

Fatburger is by far the best burger stand chain the southern california. Back in high school my friends and I made a bet at the beginning of the year that after taking all our AP tests, we'd eat a burger such that the number of patties=number of AP tests taken. I took 4 APs and so did one other guy. All the others were pussies only didnt fully own up to the bet. I ended up eating a triple-king with cheese and an order of skinny fries, while the other guy ate a quadruple-king. When we finished the guys working there gave us a free order of chili cheese fries to wash down the burger as if we had any room left in our stomachs. Between the two of us we ate a combined 3.5 pounds of burger which probably had at least 200 grams of fat, not including the cheese or mayonaise. It was embarassing for me as I was 5'8", 160 at the time and i was out-eaten by a guy who was 5'6" 145.

To make a long story short, eat unhealthily for a change and go to fatburger.
