Free flights *DEAD*

Any suggestions on what to do in Maui at that time of year? Is the surf still up?

depends where you go and if there is a storm. Right now today the surf on the north shore is 6-10feet. If you like snorkling/scuba, go on one of the tours to the small islands and reefs offshore, like Molokini. If wind is up you can go windsurfing down by Kehei. At night if you like bars and clubs you can go to Lahaina.

Maui is definately sweet tho... its my favorite island. If you do scuba, I definately recommend molokini, that was a sweeeeet dive.

I spent a couple of weeks on the North Shore (Oahu) in 99, did a couple of dives there, they were pretty good, only no sharks. Anyone know of a good shark dive off of Maui? Does Molokini have sharks?

When I was out at molokini we saw an 8 foot white tip reef shark from about 50 ft away. When I asked, they said that there is not a lot of shark action out at molokini, but you do see them occasionally.
