Serv-U is one of the best, although I have not kept up to date on their licencing layout.

Im using warFTP on my NT4 box as an FTP server, Ive had no problems at all, not much use yet though, just got DSL recently

GuildFTP is quite good... it does not have as many features as Serv-U though

BLACKMOON is good for w2k and winxp........not quite as many options as some of the toehrs but it has worked the best for me. i am on a t1, and hte others only let me upload at .5k, while this one allows me to upload at speeds over 100k. the good thign about this is that it takes advantage of w2ks built in ftp server, so it runs as windows service. once you set it up, you don't even need to have the program open.
