Anyone check out the Fuji rebate form printed from CircuitCity.com? It says the rebate requires the original CC receipt. But I only have one CC receipt for two packs of CDR. What should I do? Should I send 2 rebate claims in one envelope with the only CC receipt? Or make a copy of the receipt and send two separate claims? Will the one with copied receipt be rejected?

Ok, it didn't work for me here in LA. I took the printout of my cart at BB.com to CC and the lady there said they need the actual ad not a .com ad. Anyway, i went to BB website and looked at the weekly ad but didn't see any fujifilm cdrs there. Anyone have a link to a BB price of $14.99 in B&M? Thanks.

After reading some of the posts here. I purchased the Fujifilm 50pk CDR from CC online for pick up at Springfield, PA store. I brought the
Bestbuy.com ad with me for the item showing the sale price of $14.99. I thought there would be no problem with a pricematch because the B&M Bestbuy was within a 5 mile radius of the Springfield store. The mgr.named Robert was"not very accomodating" to say the least and REFUSED to pricematch! I pleaded my case saying, "I can buy this same item at Bestbuy.com and pick it up at your competitor's store (BestBuy) now for $10 cheaper. He refused to listen saying "We don't match ANY online pricing unless it's from our own website!" Needless to say I was steaming. They called BestBuy only to find out that the $14.99 price is for Bestbuy.com and is NOT available at the B&M store for $14.99. Well I said, "But I CAN purchase it online for $14.99 and pick it up at the BB store, just as I have done with CircuitCity.com!" He said, I can't do it that would be cutting the price in half and we wouldn't be making any money!" So I said, "Look, would you rather I just cancel my order then you don't make nothing AND you lose a customer!" He said, "I can't do it!" Fine, I cancelled my order.

I was so damn pissed at the whole thing, I called CC Online cust service and explained things. A guy named Scott was a good listener but didn't offer to do anything until I told him that I spend alot of money with CC annually and that by CC refusing to part with $10 today, it will cost them thousands of dollars in the future because I wouldn't buy from them AND that I would post my negative experience with CC on internet forums. He immediately, contacted the store MRG. at CC in Springfield and they made arrangements for me to come in and buy the CDR's at $14.99.

This was definitely a "Hot Deal!" However, it shorten my lifespan by about two years and caused me to go gray prematurely.

Where did you guys get the in-store AD for 9.99 AR? I only can find it in the online shopping-cart. Though it worked, still curious.

I did this deal at CC today. I had a printed copy of the $14.99 price from Bestbuy.com and explained clearly what I wanted to do. I was also very courteous to the CC employees that I spoke to (I was a waiter for around 10 years and picked up a lot of people skills in that time). They were more than happy to help me.

Thanks for the hot deal!

E.

You could be as nice as you wanted to be, but my local CC manager still wouldn't give it to you. Trust me, I was very reasonable and patient, but after a while, I just stormed out of the store when I knew nothing could be accomplished there.

Bump for a good deal.

I think some of you are having problems, because the BB people are confused. I called BB before I picked mine up at CC and, at first, they gave me the higher price on the phone. After I questioned them about the price the guy checked and told me that they are selling them at the B&M for $14.99. I printed out the web information to do the PM, but told the cashier that they were the same price at the store. Good Luck.

My CC (Tri-county, cincinnati) is anal - they have always (and did again here) refuse to PM when they have rebates on it, saying it comes out cheaper from them. So I went and got the 100 Imation CDs in slim cases for $10 from compusa Not TY, but they'll do for me.

If you need the rebate forms and can't find them on the Web simply buy a similar amount of product at the
regular price. Make sure that they print out the rebate forms for you and then simply return the regular
priced products and just keep the rebate forms to use with your prior "discounted" purchase.

Simple and effective

Forgot to post my saga about this deal. Ordered online for instore pickup. Went to the store witha printout of my
order but the clerk couldn't find anything. Claimed he couldn't find my order number in his computer. Tried my name,
my address, my cc number nothing. No luck. I left empty handed after about wasting ten minutes.

Might cancel and try again today at another CC store.

I got the BestBuy ad in Thursday's paper, and brought it to CC on Friday. I picked up two packs, at first the clerk didn't want to give me the PM saying their final price was the same. I told him they shouldn't include rebates with the PM, so he said he'd check with the Manager. The Manager looked like he was having a tough day, and was having a hard time figuring out which deal was better. finally he just gave up and said ok, I'll PM to $14.99, and you'll get a really good deal, free after rebate. Thanks for the great deal!!! $1.80 for 100 TY cd-r!!

I stopped by Best Buy for something else & picked up a copy of the print ad. Was going to pick up a couple more spindles at CC, but they were sold out. Scanned for your pleasure:

Best Buy 9.99 Print AD.

The BB price is definitely a B&M deal. The key fact some of the people having problems missed that it wasn't a weekly special, but in a second ad that was in Thrusday newspapers. Same price available online also. You should have no trouble with the scan from the previous post, depending on the CC employees. Thanks man!

Don't forget to go to this site and register. Allegedly, you get the rebate 20 days after Fuji receives it! :Q Unfortunately, I already sent my rebate information in, so I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer. Now only if everyone followed, it would be heaven on earth.

Thank you for choosing Fujifilm.

You will receive your 2 eBate checks for $5 within 20 days* after we receive all of the following paperwork:

A) A printed copy of this screen. Keep one copy for your records and mail the other

B) Original or photocopy of the store register receipt with the eligible product circled

C) Original UPC code from the CD-R 50 Pack Spindle

D)The original eBate

What is "the original eBate"?

SUCCESS AT LAST !!!!!

Went to CC and asked about a PM. Got several blank stares until finally got a "black shirt" to help me.
Showed him my Web order basket from BB but he said that he wouldn't match any Internet price ... only their
own (CC) Web pricing.

Luckily I had the three day BB brochure with me. Showed him that and then the head scratching began.
Started hearing the argument that price is the same after rebates etc. Told him that I wasn't interested in after
rebate pricing but "out the door" pricing. Finally he said that he would check their pricing and found it at $24.00 in
their computer. He then said that he would match the $14.99 price and that I would probably get a $5.00 MIR to
get the price the same as BB. I agreed and pickup up two packs.

We went through the sale. I signed the CC slip etc. and the receipt started printing out. Very shortly I heard an
"Oh $hit" .... "There is a $10.00 rebate also printing out .... I guess that you are lucky today". I thought that
he was going to try and cancel everything ... there would have been some fight. I just feigned ignorance and said
something like it being my lucky day today. I could hardly contain myself from laughing. He was trying to be a wise
guy about PMing for me and I ended up with what I went for in the first place.

A good deal ... Thanks to the original poster.... 2 Packs after rebate for tax on $30.00 plus stamps.

When I was at CC I also picked up a $10.00 off $10.00 Maxell batteries. This is the second time that I have
done this deal. CC's rebates take about 10 weeks for processing for me.

Thanks again

Scored at the Encinitas, CA CC. Manager was pretty cool and as I was leaving he said "Oh and heres a rebate printing out for 5 bucks." I took it and scurried out before the other rebate even printed out. I think if he saw the second rebate he might have nix the deal but I had the online rebate forms.

San Diegolocal, why would you scurry out before the second rebate? That one was for $10 if the first was $5 and that would have made your CDRs free (or just the 7.5% CA tax). To each his own, but I think you left some on the table there.

I'd venture to say that he's going to use the form from the web site.
