ahh.. looks like someone took a peek at the photogallery they have on their website, eh? pretty amazing, huh?
what i use might be different from what you need... my car is pretty new, and is clearcoated (most cars are anyway).. i skipped the z-1 and z-7 and just washed my car thoroughly with dawn dishwashing liquid (not recommended as your every-time soap, but dawn dishwashing liquid has a high alkalinity and it will totally strip off any existing wax that's on your car). i started with 2 coats of the z-5 to get rid of fine swirls and any little scratches in the clearcoat... then i applied a coat of z-5. it was still a lot cooler out when i did this, so it took most of a weekend to do the 3 coats. even with a couple drops of the ZFX fast curing agent it took a few hours to cure.
a few things i've found out after doing a full treatment:
1. wait for a weekend that you can set aside for zaino'ing your car... ideally the temperature should be in the 80's or 90's... if it's too cold out, the polish will be a lot harder to apply.. it will feel like it's curing too fast and won't spread easily (remember, you should be able to do the *whole* hood of your car with 2-3 drops of this stuff).
2. likewise, if it's too hot out it will apply very easily, but it will set very quickly... the thing about zaino is that it feels almost oily when you apply it (it's not oily, it's just that it doesn't dry right away and you can spread it around almost like putting a few drops of vegetable oil on the car. that's what it feels like anyway. a few drops will go a long way because it just keeps spreading and spreading).
3. remember that less is more... a couple drops will do the whole hood.. a couple drops will do the whole rear of the car, etc... DON'T overapply it.. shoot for a real thin coat.
4. follow the websites recommendations for towels.. i found them cheap at bed, bath&beyond. use 100% cotton, white towels or 100% cotton yellow buffing cloth. i used the buffing cloth to buff outt he wax, and the white towels to buff the z-6 gloss spray.
5. you don't need to buff this stuff out when it cures, like you do with regular wax.. you just use a buffing cloth and just rub it off, in straight lines, not circular. once it sets, it rubs right off. you probably won't even break a sweat removing it.
so, to answer your question, i used Z-5, Z-2, ZFX, and Z-6. depending on the size of your car, i used 1oz of the z-5 with 2 drops of ZFX in it.. that gave me almost 3 coats on my car.. then i used about 1/3oz of Z-2 without the ZFX and let it cure overnight before buffing it out. after removing that final coat, my car literally looked like if i touched it it would ripple.
