FREE (if you qualify) 40GB Hard Drive!

I saw an ad on Storage Review for free evaluation units of Seagate's 40GB 7200RPM hard drives.

Only system integrators that are planning to produce at least 500 systems with this drive qualify, but I'd imagine that there are at least a few Anandtech users who meet these qualifications.

I filled this out and someone did, in fact, call me on the phone. I, however, do more consulting and hosting than hardware sales. I told him I sold approximately fifteen systems per quarter. Answered a few other questions (what hard drive do you normally buy, etc) and at the end he said someone from marketing would be in touch. That was about two weeks ago and I have not yet heard from "marketing."

Hehe, sounds like a good way for seagate to get the name and email of every computer nerd in the US

I would try, but I haven't bought a Seagate in years...bump for anyone in charge of a bunch of systems
