My new service is now up and running!

When I use the speed test on DSL reports I consistantly get speeds of around 1281/374, but when I use the infospeed.verizon.net speed tool I get speeds of around 1320/161. Which one of these speeds is correct? Am I getting the 384 upload speed or not? Anyone know?

Thanks! Well, according to that site, my speeds are 1300 / 370 !! Guess that for some reason the Verizon speed test isn't as accurate - go figure. Well, nothing much to do now except wait till they start rolling out the 3mbit download speed

i requested to have DSL installed in my office desk
since the dualT1 is being shared by 150 people and is slow as crap during peak times

also our nasty proxy block all porn and net radio sites... so i asked my boss to get me and my coworker dsl

anyhow we got verizon business, and it is 1.5/384 when we get it running. does business users get a speed boost also? it'd rock to go to 3m. my earthlink-rr at home is 3m+/450

This is sorta a pain. I'm on the phone right now, and it is my 4th rep.
My first rep transferred me to sales.
The sales guy said he was on the east coast and could not help me, so he transferred me to someone else.
The next rep was very nice, and transferred me back to sales.
I am currently on hold...

At least this guy seems human and is looking into it a little further why I have been transferred all over...
At least I'm getting a tour of verizon DSL support...
