free ipod for booking ticket on delta

This weekends newspaper has this advertisement from Song airlines (Delta outfit to compete with Jet Blue and SouthWest) that first 5000 people who book 3 roundtrip tickets with Song and travel betweeb september -october (Dont remember dates), will get free ipods.
Song is cheaper anyways, so if you are travelling, get ipod free.

It is clearly mentioned that it was in weekend newspapers . I read it while travelling either Newyork times or Boston Globe.

As the Terms on the web page state, the promo does not apply to T class fares. From what I've read in other forums about this deal, T class fares are essentially the low fares that you would normally buy if you were to actually fly the airline. So they force you to buy more expensive, less restricted fares to qualify for the free iPod. Thus, it might actually be cheaper to go ahead and buy an iPod than pay for 3 overpriced tickets. . . .

interesting. is delta outlet like another cheap airline? i mean southwest and jetblue prices (especially during promotions) are almost unbeatable! or when u say they're going to compete w/ them, it's just the prize?

n/m just went to the flysong.com website. it's song (an airline operated by delta).
too bad their locations are so limited and doenst have ~LA to ~SF line.

Yeah dude...this guy is the CEO of Delta...trying to scam up some extra business

As for the airline, I'm surprised and sad they don't fly DFW . Everyone flies DFW...

I flew on song once (I was actually flying delta, but Song was one of my connections). It was the most interesting flight I have ever had. When you get on the plane, the seats are all different colors (reminded me of a box of fruit loops). Then the captain gives us a short bio about all of the crew member. He said one of the flight attendents was an avid ebayer, so if we left anything on the plane, we should check ebay later that night. Also, halfway through the flight the caption gets on and he tells it's time for "The stretch." He tells everyone to put their arms in the air air and then down to the ground and stretch. Well, anyways it was a strange flight, but I would fly song again. I know there is some other stuff that I am forgetting. It was very entertaining.
