yea me 2, i'm thinking we'll get the new ones but they probably have a contract that will provide for a certain model, most likely the old one. then again, they won't be overcharged on old merchandise and can't charge $249.99 for something that isn't $249.99 msrp

We made our 1st 2 bill pays the end of Jan with the statement ending feb 20th and got one of our ipods today UPS (blue one)!!!
One more to go!!! So it was only like 40 days or so ...

The one we got was also 1st Gen 4g .. They are for my kids so it doesn't really
matter much to them 4G vs 6G

i got a 2nd generation 4gb one. No one is getting the 6gb one. Over at fatwallet people are reporting either getting the 1st or 2nd gen 4gb.

What bugs me is if they send a 2nd gen 4gb they are knowingly sending us a 200 product because the 4gb 2nd gen was and always will be 200$

I called citibank re this deal. Kinda sucks... I've been w/ them for like 13yrs, both personal and business accts. So I told the rep, "Lemme get this straight, you will give one of these away to someone who has never banked w/ you before and is liable to only bank w/ you long enough to get the free ipod, but you aren't willing to give one to someone who has had two _non-free_ (monthly svc chgs) accounts for 13 years? That doesn't seem quite right." Of course, the drone only spouted the fine print banter about new customers only. Oh well.

We got our second one today .. looks like a second gen 4mb. Doesn't even come with a wall adapter .... At least the kids are happy ...

Yes power adapter! Only came with a USB cable. It is a retail box but it is a smaller
package than the 1st one I got 2 weeks ago. Luckily that one came with the AC power adapter.
