I bought the CyberMedia package and threw out the PCI card to use the cam with my Hauppauge video capture card. Quality, as you'd expect, is somewhat less than stellar, but you can't argue with free.

The cam requires more light than others I've used.

Many of my friends and I have BAD experiences with Fry's rebate. My friends didn't receive many of their rebates (after 4-7 months). This week is the 15th week for my CD label kit rebate.

The rebate form has NO contact information if you didn't receive your rebate (no phone#, no email, no website). The rebate form usually stated "allow 12 weeks for process". I'll give them another 2 weeks then I'll go to the local fry's with all my rebate documents.

wjones: is it the cd stomper rebate that you didnt get? if it is, why not check out the cd stomper website cuz from my copy of the rebate form, the rebate is done thru them, and not fry's.

dakata24, thanks for the advise. I checked and it showed they received my rebate on 4/25 and will take 12 weeks the process (I sent the rebate in Feb!!!). Anyway, at least i know my rebate is valid

Yeah, my uncle sent in some Fry's rebates a few months ago and still nothing. I'd stay away from Fry's rebates or any rebates unless the price is good before the rebate.
