Perhaps instead of posting the same question about returning your filler items over and over again here, a call directly to your nearest OD will answer that question better than we can.

aw crikey. my bad...i just realized i asked the exact same question earlier

i think i'm so worked up about this, i just keep coming back to this thread and posting without thinking.

i just wished they had cancelled my whole order, instead of a portion. would have saved me a slight headache.

Return it to store, or call OD for pickup.
Once one of items was wrong, one med-point ball pen (they sent fine point; we ordered 20-30 ball pens before we bought huge volume.) They actually sent UPS picking it up! Also sent us a replacement. A ball pen costs $1.00, how much a UPS pickup cost???

I spent $11 for the free shipping by adding 15 cdrs on top.


I used a CDR and i called today and they said my chair oder was cancelled. So i spen $11 on 15 cdrs. thats fvckin great

You would figure that these companies would have the capability to not make mistakes. Whoever is in charge of this sh!t should be fired. People expect that when they place an order for something, that the order should be honored. I am sick of placing an order to have it cancelled because some idiot can't subtract 40.00 from 39.99. I am going down to OD raise a stink. It will make me feel better!

got one ordered, along witha flash drive.

Flash drive was delievered and on my door the next day

The chair is.... somewhere not in my possesion

Has anyone that received the chair called Office Depot? ( I know one person did ) Just wondering what OD says about it since it was "cancelled" but delivered.

Office Depot delivered the filler items (tape) but no chair. The packing slip showed the chair as shipped. When I called customer service (888) go-depot, the nice lady (Phoenix) told me that there was a mistake with the coupon and my order for the chair had been cancelled. I told her that in that case I didn?t want the filler items and that she needed to schedule for OD to pick them up. She said she would refund my credit card for the full amount of the order and I could keep the tape.
So I got $12 worth of tape out of the deal.

I only got the paper for ~$11 and no chair. Never got a cancellation order or anythign ot indicate I wouldn't get the chair. I calmly called OD and they said the chair was in low supply so I wouldn't get it until sometime next week. I live in southern Cali area so maybe that's true since I ordered the leather instead of the fabric one. Wonder if they'll actually send it or are just jerking me around. Do I need to attempt to return the paper that I'm sure as hell not paying $11 for? I plan on calling Amex and disputing the charge since they didn't fulfill the order but I wonder if I need to try and return first. Such an inconvience, I wish they would have just cancelled the order.

i am going to call them tomorrow about hte same thing. I got my filler, but no chair. I have not gotten a cancellation email, and the website still says "shipped by third party". Also, the invoice from the filler item has the chair listed.

Well, I ordered right after the OP came up. Next day I gpt a chair and a filler. Went to the site, it claimed I refused delivery on the other chair. This was two completely seperate orders, I logged off in between. Called them, got a run around from a clueless CSR. I haven't checked my card yet, but the CSR kept insisting I had been issued a $51 refund. Got to thinking about that after prodding her some more and decided I was better off with the possibility of a mistaken $51 refund on a $12 order than arguing forever on a chair that isn't going to be delivered anyway. with any luck at they'll deliver the chair and the refund Monday.

Long story made short:

Filler items were delivered last Fri., but no chair. I called OD and raised hell for about 20 mins to a few different OD representatives, they gave me the run around and said that I would have to pay $40 for the chair if I wanted it delivered. Told them to either deliver the remaining item on my order (the chair), or I would cancel the order and never shop at OD again. They chose to never get any of my business again.

Their loss.

Got one chair by store pickup on Thursday. Went a couple of hours after the order. Must not have had time to be warned.

Had another order to be shipped and recieved my $8 pack of 12 pencils and no chair. The order last week said shipped, then changed to Unscheduled (Re-Delivery) and then back to shipped. I think they actually stopped the truck and took my chair off. Now my status is Delivered w/exception. Figure no chair's coming now.

Ordered it fairly early on Thursday. It was there when I got home Friday. Total charges ~$13 (added a new keyboard). And since I don't actually need it, a friend is buying of me for the price I paid for the keyboard. So I get a free keyboard and he gets a firt cheap chair. I'm happy.
