Net cost is about $3. ($50-30%=$35+$8 shipping=$43-$40 Lexmark rebate =$3)

I spent $18 for a new one with cable on the other vstore deal in this forum.

The cartridge alone is more than $30 so this is a good deal if you haven't already used up the Lexmark rebate. Otherwise, I would buy a second one!

yeah you made a mistake. you listed a vstore. they are not allowed he since they are another form of referalls. ie, people who post links like that can make money off of people who go there. Please remove it. Dont take offense since I dont mean this post in a mean way at all, just telling you what the rules are. Hope I dont deter you from posting other good stuff tho.

type of post. it is a referal, and is not allowed because it allows people to post crap and make money off of it. The thing is, is that anyone can make a vstore, meaning that if vstore posts were allowed we would be inundated with them. Trust me, if one vstore link is allowed, suddenly hundred of people will start posting them. This is *NOT* a good deal. if you want to use a vstore link, go to vstore.com, setup your own store and buy from yourself. you will get the commission, but do not buy from anyone elses link.

Even for $3 or for free this printer is not a bargain. On any setting other than crappyquality (tm) it prints slower than anything i have ever used; I'm talking minutes per page. The one ink cartridge is okay if you are really lazy, but too bad there is no black! It is readily apparent on low quality printing and while high quality is somewhat better, it is unbelievable slow. The printer itself is small and compact--These are the only saving features of the Z11. Tech support for Lexmark is awful. The Z11 is bar-none the worst twenty dollars I have ever spent and the biggest hassle for anything I have purchased.

don't plan on just getting the rebate, never got my $50 one from last december, called them and all, they screwed me and they have screwed a lot of people, so u are taking your chances, they aren't gonna give printers away for free for the last year and many of us have found out the hard way, a$$holes.

I got my $50 rebate within 8 weeks without any calls. Yeah, the Z11 prints slow in anything but draft mode, but it is a damn good printer for $20 (or less). Having two cartridges, one for black and one for color, would be a much better way to go if you are buying a new printer. I know Lexmark and others make them. If you are looking for a cheap but good printer, it is hard to beat the Z11, just have patience.

back when there was the free printer from officemax (OM 50$ rebate and lexmark 50$ rebate) I picked up 3. one for my mom, and 2 for me. my mom got both rebates ok, and I got both rebates ok on one, but since I bought my second one a week or so after when I sent in the rebate it was returned with a message saying that you werent allowed to get both rebates. So by that time I had realised what a totally awful printer it was (and I mean garbage) and I was stuck paying 50$ for something I could likely only sell on fleabay for about 25. I just waited until they had another promotion (since the rebate had expired) and made up a serial number since that is what they track the rebates by, and finally got it. both printers are just sitting around in a box somewhere because they are so totally awful. Lexmark from my experience makes pretty crap printers. but now at least thanks to the estamp deal I am using my hp930 and it is really nice.
