Free long distance (PC to phone) very good, almost no feedbacks!!

Maybe u already know this, but if u don't u should give it a try, I have been using Yahoo! Messenger lately, they have a "call" feature, u dial the phone number excluding '1' and u can get free long distance phone calls anywhere in the US!

The quality of voice is very good, definitely no feedback for the person using the PC to call, there is however some feedbacks (I have been told it is very little) on the receiving end (person using the phone), so overall, I think the free service is quite good, hey at least u can save like a buck if make long distance phone calls a lot!!

I am almost positive that Yahoo also uses Net2Phone (think I was reading about it). Also they may charge you after a certain time limit each month or to call internationally. I don't remember exactly what I read but I might be correct.

Yes, Yahoo now uses Net2Phone, same as MSN Messenger.

I tried the MSN one but i found it worst quality than Dialpad. Anybody else agrees? If a consensus here says that Net2Phone is better, i'll retry yahoo and MSN, but i didn't like it when i tried it a few months ago.

In fact, nowadays, the voice quality of dialpad is even worse than msn messenger, although I cannot say msn's voice quality is good.

Dialpad is worst since when? i've been using it for about 3 months now, and quality has still been pretty much the same. I find dialpad REALLY good, except for occasional problems... maybe it's because i'm on cable?

I agree with Moral. I'm on cable, and have been using DialPad for over a year now. It has it's occasional problems, which can be expected from a FREE VOIP application. Despite the occasional hiccups, the overall voice quality is very good. I've found that I get less frequent hiccups if I don't do anything else on the web. Loading web pages seem to cause problems.

I am on T1 and I find that dialpad has strong feedbacks if you are on receiving end(person with the telephone), and I have been told by others that Yahoo does not have such a strong feedback. I guess it all depends, but the good thing is the two services are all FREE!!
