I wrote to the company about the design of the razor and this was there prompt response.
"Thank you for telling us about your experience with the MACH3Turbo Razor. Consumers' opinions are a valuable part of our ongoing evaluation process and our marketing and product development people will appreciate your input.
We anticipated that it might take a little time for some people to adjust to the design of the cartridge and to fully realize its benefits. We encourage you to give the MACH3Turbo system some more time to prove its worth. However, since you're experiencing some initial difficulties, I'd like to offer you two suggestions that might provide an additional dimension of precision while shaving.
* With regard to shaving under your nose, try placing your forefinger gently against the vertical bar on the back of the cartridge. Start from the tight spot under your nose and shave carefully down toward the top of your lip.
* An alternative (which is also helpful in shaving the sideburn area) is to hold the razor handle at a 90-degree angle to your face and apply a bit more pressure as you shave to get a clean line.
While time alone is usually enough to adjust to MACH3Turbo, these suggestions may aid in the transition for you. I'm betting that very shortly you'll be like the thousands of other men who have found the short adjustment period well worth the benefits. If you're not completely satisfied, please contact us again (reference the number below) and I'll be happy to assist you further. "
