This is coll because you can get the dotcomics program and view thme using that and have it download all available comic book files for perusing offline. Very recommended if you are a marvel fan.

You need a standalone shockwave/flash player and I'm not sure if there is one for this version of flash. If you have a personal webserver you could serve them up on your local machine.

hmmm, very interesting....

i scoured the marvel site, but cannot find the player download....

of course here is the instructions

and the upgrade files

but i cannot find the player itself, i guess they don't have it available to download anywhere, unless if i remember right, it gives you the download right after you sign up...

but anywhoo,

a filesearch on kazaa for dotcomics.exe produces some people to download from

as well, if anyone wants to host the file - dotcomics.exe (about a 3.1 MB file)

Because most people want to keep their comics. Also, I'd think that there are way too many comics out there for people to scan.

Oh, and because people over the age of 13 can afford 3 bucks for a comic book.

I don't know what you are talking about. That link is only registering on the site. It does not give you the downloadable version. Can anyone email me the player? I have been tying up the phone lines reading the comics and it would be really great to jkust download themand enjoy them on my leasure.

cremefilled - I have often wondered the same thing

these free comics can be dangerous... if i was still into collecting, i would have bought future issues to find out what happens in these cliffhangers/teasers. then a free deal = spending money to feed the addiction. i'm so glad they didn't have a comic book stand at college... i was finally able to kick the habit.

Upload to a geocities account. You can create one, easily. I guess tripod or one of these would work too.
