just called customer support & the item is mispriced on the website. it is actually 99.99 with the $70 MIR makes it $29.99 + shipping. But in order to get this deal you have to order over hte phone...still not bad

LOL what is your problem? Maybe he tried to buy it online but got the error, then decided to try to buy it over the phone? And when the CSR on the phone couldn't get it to work, they found out that it was a price error....how has 2cool4u done any wrong? It's good instore....it's in the paper circular. The Microcenter I went to has been chnaging the price all day. WHen I went there, they had tons of them left and everyone was buying them in multiples numbers.

BTW, I stopped by the local MC today - no SATA drives, but a few PATAs left. They honor the prices, even though it was fixed in the system.

The web site is still showing $69.99, and is NOT fixed, as some uninformed souls are claiming.

I would not doubt it is a price mistake. If you go instore, all the signs they have indicate it is (99.99 - 70.99 = 29.99), but the circular contains the mistake, so they are honoring it.

someone there asked about the price on the internet and manager let him have it for $69.99 and i ask too and got it for $69.99



i hooked up to my raid card, it seems to be little slow.
i got the ide(pata) version. there were lot of 100gb maxtor.. i think those of you who want it, just go to the store.

Actually when I called and gave him the sku number he said right away "o there's a pricemistake on that item, we are working on fixing it online as well" So i'm pretty sure they already knew what had happened. So thanks for being such a tool and getting upset cause they caught their own mistake
