Boy you guys all seem to be experts... Do you believe everything you see in mass media, the onion and the national enquirer?

If so, based on the last several movie releases beware of things that go bump in the night. Horrible crimes are on the rise.

If you really think McDonald's is that bad, consider what you might eat at all restaurants, even places like Outback or Chili's.

Thank goodness this is America where you can choose to believe what you want and cast your vote with the almighty dollar. Which, by the way indicates McDonald's is #1. Oh, and McDonald's charitable and humanitarian efforts beat all the competitors efforts combined, so guess they are bad guys.

Hmm. Have you eaten at Outback or Chili's? Their food is, err, quite a bit more upscale than Mc'Ds. They actually have a legitimate right to call themselves "Restaraunts".

You're right, McD's food is definately numero uno, thanks to their corporate parent's charitable contributions. I should be so greatful for you letting us in on the true secret of food quality. Silly me, I thought that it had something to do with the ingredients, preperation steps, and service. Boy was I wrong. So next time my McD's slides on out the other side, I'll be set in the knowledge that my toilet is getting to re-digest the "#1 restraunt quality food in America". Man, my toilet is lovin' it!

Oh, ok, now I remember - McD's introduced these, as their "new" chicken nuggests, after they started getting some bad press over the fact that their traditional "chicken" nuggets were nothing more than deep-fried whipped fat concoctions, flavored with some chicken-fat or something. No actual meat. So if these are "actual meat", and you're a fan of McD's chicken-whatevers, then I guess this is indeed a Hot Deal for you.

Personally, I dig Wendy's nuggets, but I'm starting to get the feeling that their quality on those is going downhill too. :|

actually these are more like chicken strips. mcdonald's still has mcnuggets, but they are now with "white meat" (notice the lack of indication of what kind of meat, just the color).

White meat doesn't mean the color, it means it's white meat and not dark meat. Dark meat would be the meat around the legs of a chicken and such, while white meat is from the breasts.

There's a McDonalds inside the corporate building that I work in. I took advantage of this deal 5 times today. Thanks McDonalds for the free lunch today, and tomorrow as well!

Mmmmmmmmmmmm, free processed chicken!

And in all honesty, they weren't that bad. Quite tasty.

As much as I hate Mc'D's, my like for Free pretty much rules my decision making.

I'm in the business. Even though they are a competitor, I can vouch the McD's has very high standards/specifications for their products, and often pay a higher price to insure that they get that level of quality year round. This product, in particular is made from slices (the supplier uses a computer controlled water gun to slice the meat) of whole muscle breast meat. This is not the sort "chewed and glued" product that their $0.99 chicken sandwich is made from. That being said, it's still high fat and high sodium so remember to eat your veggies too.

yeah. so trhanks but no thanks. i still hope to live long enough to at least have kids one day...and possibly live long enough to see my kids die. i've see the nutrition info from mcdonald's website. most of their food is basically high blood pressure/high cholesterol/heart attack packaged in a paper(or cardboard if you like big macs).

the thing I liked most about that video was the extras, especially the guy that lives off of Big Macs ;p, the history of McDs is good but the Frys thing WAY better. It makes weak minded individuals give up fast food, but most educated ppl hardly went there anyway zan wouldn't care.

So what do any of you mean by "processed"? All this is is a piece of chicken breast meat that travels down a stainless steel meash belt and is first dusted with some breading (basically flour), covered in batter, then breaded again, then quickly travels through hot oil to set the coating (parfrying) then into a big, spiral freezer (IQF). McD's refrys it till the meat is 165 F and serves it to you. Other than being on an industrial scale, this isn't much different than you mom making fried chicken at home. This isn't like making bologna or spam - now that's "processed" meat.

I haven't had fast food for about 8 months probably(nothing to do with that movie). I've seen the movie and the guy eats grossly.. like 4 huge meals a day with milkshakes.. people would get fat from eating that much in salads.. eating fast food once a day is pushing it unless you are really careful about your choices
