I took this test last Friday. It focuses a lot on DNS. I would give it a 7 out of 10 for difficulty. Then again, I only studied for two days prior to the test, and I don't know all that much about Active Directory.

Exam Preparation Guide

This test is a hard one, a lot of case studies and is not repeat the fact type answers. It's a combo of 70-219 and 70-221.

Yep, just signed up for mine. I am going to take it tomorrow at 9AM. It is the last day of the beta, so if you would like to take it sign up today (must a day in advance).

I'll post back how I do. I better be able to pass, considering I am a MCSE 2000, CCA, and CCDA ;p

this test experience was a nightmare for me!:disgust:

it took over an hour for the exam to even initialize on any test system, and then it crashed (kept getting a "terminating" error) at least once in every one of the six parts!

the test itself was pretty ridiculous. . .it did focus alot on DNS and not nearly so much on GPO as the 217 test, but the format was (IMHO) much much harder to follow. the case studies were in a tier/menu style, so you have to dig for information that you don't know exists. each case study is a bit different, so no "variations on the same scenario" like in the previous MCP exams. either it was the easiest exam I've ever taken and I read too much into it or it just plain sucked! to add insult to injury, they make you wait 6-8 weeks to find out whether you pass!

You think thats bad

A friend and I both went in to take it
after each part of the test it would crash and for wahtever reason his machine shut off on him at least once
no blue screen or anything just off

On the other hand mine got so bad that after the fourth section it told me I was done and had completed the test!!!



Spent 45 minutes trying to get a live person at prometic today
finally gave up and will try again tomorrow

Took it today also..
Had mine crash once on the 5th testlet..
I liked the idea of the test questions.. But the layout has to go..
You almost need two monitors or at least a 21" so that you can look at the data easier while going trough the test.. Those side menus SUCKED...

And now they tell you that you need to wait at least 8 weeks maybe longer...

Oh well, I can't complain since I also got a free voucher for any MS test beacuse the test rollout was delayed(I had to take it today instead of last friday because they had problems getting th equestions setup)..
