Mmmm, I didn't think about doing that. I just ordered from the link. Myabe I should have logged in as partner. It was strange that the form didn't verify you are a partner. I guess it won't take long to hit FW and they will order a gazillion which means the company handling this promotion for MS will probably come back to verify our partnership status.

I am a registered partner, but the link isn't working. Just pulls up a blank page. Same when I click on "Sign In" on the partner page....

Original link is working now but it takes you to MS passport login to access Partner website. LOL, they must have done this after getting a million requests on their open order webpage.

I signed up on this right away and have received an e-mail confirmation saying to expect delivery in 7 to 10 days.

It is funny how the wind changes at Microsoft. They where giving this away to anyone who came to a Partners seminar and then they weren't. Now this, however brief. Now I'm going to have to look up converting my server from 2000 to this.

No, you're thinking of the Windows Server they were supposedly giving away at the TS2 seminars. This promo is for Office SBE.

If qualified as Partner - you should be on the MS Subscription Action Pak service. The only extra I saw here was the coupons to offer to clients.

I believe you need to take some tests, and then pay a fee.

Yeah, it turns out that to be a partner you need to have at least one "certified by MS" logo, which you can get by having any Hardware designed for Windows, which is practically any hardware. The only catch is that you have to own a coder SSL certificate, which is about $300 bucks. No thanks.
