It's a beta.
Windows XP is still a beta in my book. They still haven't got it right. How many windows updates are there just in the past 2 months?
I concur...all software releases are beta as far as I'm concerned. No such thing is perfect piece of software! Ever! No matter what it is. That being said, I will be downloading Vista and use it myself

The last line on the form "....I may be contacted about future updates for Microsoft India" ???? I wonder if this was supposed to be for Indian customers?

11 security updates released on Monday. But then to be fair, there are weekly security updates for Suse 10.1 (for all the prgrams and the OS itself). Hey, better to have too many than not enough.

I agree. If you write it in assembly and run it on a stripped down Unix kernel you're probably pretty safe. If you run it on Windows and write it in VS .NET using MFCs... good luck.Originally posted by: sflahavinWhat about "Hello World." not much room for error there, unless its microsoft.Originally posted by: videophoI concur...all software releases are beta as far as I'm concerned.
