Got it today. It's a total POS. I put in the batteries and started screwing in the back, the light starts turning on with the back halfway screwed in, but turns off when it is fully attached. It's a poorly made knockoff mini maglite that doesn't even work. If I ever have to get a catheter, it ain't gonna come from these douches.
At least the cheapo Made In China batteries that came with your light worked; I got mine yesterday and discovered that the batteries that came with mine are even cheaper than the cheapo ones that come with some consumer electronics remote controls! Read on:
1) They're made to look like Duracells;
2) They even come with the lame "put your fingers on each end" battery tester, which...
3) when I did so, didn't even register a charge at all;
4) They had the heft and mass of a dummy battery...
5) which probably might have been the case because I was able to easily squish the battery with my fingers!
When I stuck in some REAL batteries, I got the same deal as what preslove encountered. I should have checked to see if the bulb is the same as that on a REAL Mini MagLite; if so, then at least there's something salvageable from this obvious POS.
