I received mine as well. not sure it was worth anything close to the retail of 30. where can you get more of the cd paper so you can make more labels? they only included 4 in the kit.
1 - Plastic CD label applicator
1 - MediaFACE II labeling software CD
2 - CD label sheets (2 labels per sheet for a total of 4 labels)
2 - Jewel case insert book covers (enough for 2 jewel cases)
1 - Jewel case back insert sheet (2 inserts on the sheet)
In total, I can make labels for 4 CDs and 2 jewel cases. The box claims that it includes "an assortment of CD labels and jewel case inserts in both Photo-Quality/High-Gloss and Non-Glare/Matte finish". But, there are no High Gloss labels or inserts.
I emailed them on this and they offered me the $5 shipping back or an assortment of labels - I chose the labels because I want to try them out and the CSR sent a bunch out via Priority Mail.
Apparently they have the normal kit and the "PYRO" promo kit which they failed to mention.
how long, on average, did it take you guys to receive this? i ordered mine a while back and i checked my order status......it said that the ship date was 10/20/00.......how much longer will it be??
hoomza444, they sent mine by FedEx "express saver", which might be their ground service. It was shipped on 26 October, and arrived today, 31 October.
The MediaFace software is junk if you're trying to include a LOT of really small type, for instance, insert cards for data CDRs of MP3s, which can hold ~175 tracks.
You can only input 1024 characters at a time -- enough for about 30 tracks per "text box".
Anybody who's used SureThing have any idea how much text you can paste in at once?
There was a malfunction when I placed my order and I ended up with two orders but Neato eventually credited my account and just sent me one. Boy, was I lucky for this is an absolute piece of junk that that should be sold for about $ .50 at a flea market. I was going to give it to a relative but would not insult anyone with this piece of trash. Go to Sam's Club and pay the $20 for a CD Stomper if you want a quality kit. I would never buy anything from a company that would use this product for promotion material.
